    Hi there!

    Who else has Linux on their Zenbook?

    I have Ubuntu 11.10 running on my UX31. There are only a few niggles for me

    * Webcam not recognised
    * USB Ethernet dongle not recognised
    * Suspend not working

    I'm searching for a solution to the ethernet and webcam issue. Suspend isn't a problem for me since the OS boots in about 7 seconds anyway. :)

    I just installed Fedora 16 and have the same problems as you describe - as well as the suboptimal trackpad. It is not urgent for me but I would like to get these problems sorted out - have you made any progress?

    Thanks,

    Phil.

    AndreaR,

    Thanks for that - I did eventually find out that a kernel upgrade would help and installed v3.2 which mostly fixed my problems but I will have a closer look at the link (even though it has a Debian slant).

    Regards,

    Phil.

    Running Ubuntu 12.10 here with no problems. Be sure to update to the latest bios though or unplugging the power will cause instant shut off.

    I might have to try Linux on my zenbook at some point. Its good to see that some are having a positive experience.
